MAN TGX Key Codes
MAN TGX keys have different key blanks and codes than other models of large trucks. Freightliner, for example, began using a new FT1001 and FT3000 series of codes in 2003. Peterbilt and Kenworth started using the P0001 - P1500 series between 2011 and 2012. International trucks also have their own codes system.
Each MAN TGX key comes with a bitting code that is unique to it. This code is used along with the Depth and Space Number of the key to determine its exact geometrical. For example the Bitting Code 11111 with a Depth and Spacing Numer of 46 indicates that the key has five deep cuts.
